Maun is a town located into the North of Botswana. In terms of size, it’s the fifth largest city of the state, and the administrative centre of the Ngamiland district.
Maun lies along the Thamalakane River, and it has developed very fast from that small village that used to be at the beginning of the XX century, when Maun was home to the tribal group of the Batawana.
Today Maun is a modern city with shopping centres, hotels, and many public services such as transports, sanitation, etc…
