Brava is the smallest island of Cape Verde. Founded in 1462, today it has a population of around 7000 inhabitants.
The climate is humid but cool with temperatures between 16 and 25C.
Brava’s main industry used to be long whaling. Today the economy is based on agriculture and the fishing industry.
This is one of the most beautiful islands of Cape Verde with an abundance of flora and fauna. The majority of the people here are of Creole (mixed) origin.
