Dahab is known for its aquatic sports facilities; this is an excellent destination for windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkeling and diving.
Dahab is the gateway to some of the most prestigious diving sites in the world; the Blue Hole, Qnai el-Rayan and Qnai el-Atschan.
You can take a camel, horse, jeep or quad-bike safari across the desert, on the waterfront or around the town.


The Assalah region is teeming with tourists visiting rows of shops, campgrounds, hotels, bars, and restaurants that lie on this stretch of the shore along the Ghazala Bay.
The seafood restaurants, known as Masbet, are always a good bet. Serving the best of sea food, a must try are the red snapper, calamari and lobster preparations in tradition Bedouin styles.  


Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine’s Monastery are popular sites, especially for watching the sunset.
