The Alexandria National Museum is situated in Egypt and was inaugurated in 2003 by Hosni Mubarak. This museum has more than 1800 artifacts which narrate the story of Alexandria and also of Egypt. Most of the pieces came from other Egyptian Museums. This museum housed in the old Al Saad Bassili Palace, who was one of the wealthiest wood merchants in Alexandria.
