Abu Simbel is an archaeological site comprising of two magnificent rock temples in southern Egypt which is about 290 km southwest of Aswan. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions. Many visitors come by plane to visit this temple, which runs on a daily basis. Buses, cars are the means of transport that run at least twice a day from Aswan.
