Al Qalaa is a massive stone fortress set in a beautiful tropical location having magnificent views. This was built by Salah ad-Din in the 12th century. The visitors who visit this historic site has the freedom to roam this castle which still remains in pristine condition including the execution room. There are two other mosques which are located at the Citadel, which are the 13 to 14th century Mosque of al-Nasir Muhammad and the 16th century mosque of Suleyman Pasha.
