Dahshur (Arabic) is an Egyptian site located about 40 kilometers south of Cairo, mainly known for having a real wide necropolis, located in a deserted area of the western bank of the River Nile, with several pyramids, two of them of being the oldest, largest and best preserved in Egypt.
