There are plenty of nightlife options in Cairo.
The most popular are the baladi bars, which are intentionally called 'cafeterias' to cover the fact that they sell alcohol.
Although these bars can appear a little rough, these bars are perfectly safe.
But since it is essentially a male domain, women travelers might feel a bit uncomfortable. The Sharia Alfy area around the Midan Orabi offers a mesmerizing nightlife.
The fun goes on to the small hours and you will still find some places that are open 24 hours.
