A number of buses leave Dahab for Jordan and you can use a taxi to get to the bus station. There are pick up trucks which cost a few Egyptian pounds if taxis are unavailable for moving within the city and you are tired of walking.
Cabs are available to go to Dahab and one can keep the same cab for visiting other tourist attractions as well. However, do remember to fix the price in advance as cab drivers can charge higher prices.
A big group can hire an air conditioned mini cab which is faster and more comfortable than a bus. It is ideal as the city heat can be oppressive. The cost may seem high but when divided among the group it can work out well.
Camels are the traditional way of getting around which is cheap as well as fun, though the ride can be pretty slow.
