The Sahara Desert covers most of the North Africa and is known to be the largest desert in the world. The desert is almost 800 and 1,200 miles from north to south and 3,000 miles from east to west. Tourists visiting Hurghada can quad bike hundreds of miles into the Sahara desert and enjoy tea with a Bedoin tribe. They can also camp under the stars in this desert or March through the desert on camel back rides.
