Marsa Alam is an old distant fishing town, which has been transformed in the recent years into one of the most beautiful holiday retreats in Egypt.
With an ideal blend of top-class hotels that offer excellent nightlife, Marsa Alam has its own definition of fun.
It hasn’t lost its local character with an abundance of local eateries and drinbars, normally much cheaper than the international hotel and food chains available.
Ciao Marsa, a famous local hotspot, a Mexican Disco playing all kinds of music, particularly Latin, Europop and international pop.
Planet Bedouin, which is an authentic middle eastern tent on the beach serving a range of drinks every day is a great chill out area and definitely worth a visit for a more relaxed evening. You can also enjoy traditional Egyptian food like Molokhia, a dish made with Arab spices with grilled chicken with rice. They also offer an middle eastern show with belly dancers every Wednesday night.
