Marsa Alam does not have many shops. Majority of these can be found in the larger resorts like Cataract, Kahramana Shams Alam, and Breaka.

The town is famous for souvenir such as Oriental perfumes.

There are also two or three shops selling Bedouin accessories and outfits. The shop that will attract you the most is the one selling exotic herbs and spices.
