The northern part of the town is called Nuweiba Tarabin. The bay in the region is surrounded by a cluster of palm trees and the runs of a Turkish fort are also found here. It is a vibrant place with several restaurants and cafes along the beach; the bazaars contribute the local flavour.

Nuweiba Port or Nuweiba Muzeina is a typical port area overflowing with beach side eateries and shops. It is known for the bargain shopping as well as duty free items. Nuweiba Town has been built around, Moshav Neviot a boundary demarcating the territory of the two tribes living in this area.

The area between the port and the town is known as the Dunes. Small Duna is lined with hotels and campsites, while Duna holds on to the old charm with its thatched beach houses and small establishments. The beaches in this are known for the beautiful coral reefs. Nuweiba is very popular with divers because of its clear waters and abundant water plants and creatures.
