A breath-taking 16 days trip along the desert, the valleys of Jebel Uwaynat and the Gilf el Kebir with ist neolithic rock drawings.

1. Day: Arrival
Arrival at Cairo Airport, transfer to Hotel.
2. Day: Kairo - Fayum - Wadi Rayan -Wadi Heitan
Departure to Fayum by jeep. Proceed to Wadi Rayan, and then to the National Park of Wadi Heitan. Tent overnight.
3. Day: Wadi Heitan - Baharija – White Desert
Arrival in Baharija and proceed to the White Desert.
4. Day: White desert – Farafra - Dakhla
In the morning two hours walk through the White Desert near Wadi Mushroom and its famous mushroom-shaped rocks. Afterwards drive to Farafra, visit to the local museum. After lunch drive to Dakhla and visit to the old town of El Qasr.
5. Day: Dakhla – Shagar Loof – Mud Lions - Gilf el Kebir
We go towards the Gilf el Kebir by jeep, through the famous rocks of Shagar Loof. Proceed to Abu Ballas.
6. Day: Eight Bells – Kamal el Din Monument - Jebel Uweinat
We pass the WWII runway of Eight Bells. Proceed along the Eastern flank of the Gilf el Kebir toward the monument for Prince Kamal el Din. Then we drive through the Clayton craters.
Then we enter the area of the Gebel Uwainat and explore the wadis with 4x4. Tent overnight on the way to Karkur Talh.
7.Day: Karkur Talh
Arrival in Karkur Talh during the morning. This day is dedicated to the exploration of the area.
8.Day: Karkur Talh – Wadi Sura - Foggini Cave
Visit to the hills of Peter and Paul, and then to Wadi Sura in the western Gilf el Kebir. Tent overnight.
9. Day:Aqaba - Wadi Homra
Departure from Wadi Sura and arrival to the Gilf via el Aqaba. Tent overnight in Wadi Homra.
10.-12. Day: Silica Fields - Great Sand Sea
From the Silica Fields we drive through the Great Sand Sea
13. Day: Siwa Oasis
Entrance into Siwa oasis, the most remote oasis of the Western Desert.
14. Day: Siwa - Matruh
Sightseeing in Siwa, then drive to Marsa Matruh on the Mediterranean coast.
15. Day: Matruh - Alamein – Alexandria - Cairo
Departure on the coastal road, passing El Alamein. City tour of Alexandria , then proceed to Cairo. Hotel overnight.
16. Day: Departure
Back to Cairo airport.
