Not far away from Taba can be seen:
The Monastery of St. Catherine, an astonishing, fortified monastery, built in
the 6th century under the Roman Emperor Justinian. It is one of the oldest monastery’s
all over the world.
Mount Sinai or Mountain of Moses, sacred to Muslims, Jews and Christians, Mount
Sinai overlooks the Monastery of St. Catherine. At a height of 2285 metres,
it is relatively easy to climb to the top and it offers exceptional views at
sunset and sunrise.
It truly deserves to be enjoyed all the beauties of the wonderful and warm Red
Sea!
