The city of Busua is located in a small inlet around 5 km from Dixcove, in the western region of the country of Ghana.
The place is characterised by hot tropical climate that is prevalent in Africa. Although it stays hot and humid almost throughout, cloudy evenings, picturesque skies and a languid setting provide an ideal excuse to put one’s feet up.
The city is a small and economical holiday destination that is perfect for nature lovers and budget travellers. The sprawling beaches, with a vast expanse of white sand, and the transparent sea offer ideal conditions for long swims. A lively local community and an amazing array of delightful sea food add to the charm of this fascinating little town.
