Tourist Guide Maua
Maua is the capital of Meru North District, in the Eastern Province of Kenya. The city has a population of about 10.000 inhabitants.
From Maua you can enjoy the view of Maua Nyambeni Hills and access the western part of Meru National Park, which is a wonderful natural reserve, a must see when going to Maua.
The game reserves which can be visited from Maua are Buffalo Springs Game Reserve, Lake Mbaringon Game Sanctuary and Samburu Game Reserve.
Another must-see spot is Mount Kenya National Park, with its Natural Forest and the Mount Kenya, which is, with its 5,199 mt. altitude, the second highest peak in Africa.
The Mount was formed from an extinct volcano and from here travellers enjoy the most impressive landscapes in Africa.
