Quick facts about Kenya

Nairobi like any other cosmopolitan city in the world can be challenging to new persons because of the road network system, public transport and language barrier. This should not deter you from enjoying Nairobis Uhuru park situated 25 km from the major airport, accessible by use of a taxi.

Enjoy sumptuous meal at the great 5 star hotels which are spread out through the city approximately 500 meters from each other on the main highways.

Taxi services are available at a reasonable rate. There are no meters, negotiation prior to boarding is advised.

Payment is done in kenya shillings. While staying in Nairobi you can visit the National archives situated in the city and accessible by foot and easily recognisable, if you are staying at the hilton hotel it is a 40 seconds walk accross the street.

See Kenyas national heritage from pre historic dates stored and recorded keenly.

Do not resist from a night out, there are many night clubs friendly and social crowds, try out kenyan beer or stick to your Mattini order a cocktail or a soft drink at affordable rates.

Nairobi is full of activities in almost every social place. inquire from your cell phone network provider.

Stay cautious and always have your passport intact.

Happy travelling...
