Maseru: Attractions and more...
The Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Victories, a majestic colonial style structure
situated just on the main entry into the City. It surely deserves a good visit.
The weaving centres, such as Thorkild Hand Weaving and Moteng Weavers, provide
great opportunities for visitors to buy traditional Lesotho products.
Lancer’s Gap, on the road north from Maseru, offers delightful views of
the City and of the Caledon Valley, and is at the same time the site of a famous
battle of Basotho warriors in 1852.
