Tourist Guide Antananarivo:
Antananarivo, formerly Tananarive, is Madagascar’s capital and largest
city.
It is located in the east-central part of the country and is built on two ridges
that form a V with the Avenue de l'Independance running through the central
valley. .
Antananarivo is the country’s administrative, communication, and economic
centre.
It is the trade centre for a productive agricultural region, whose main crop
is rice.
The city was founded in the 17th century as a walled citadel. The conquests of
the Merina king Radama I, who reigned from1810 to1828, made Antananarivo the
capital of almost all Madagascar.
Today the city has unusual French and Asian inspired architecture and winding
cobblestone streets and staircases that create a wonderful impression.

It is not my taste, you'll need some fashion advice and you won't be able to use credit cards so that's not working. Some of the building are okay looking but they're not that attractive. The only places that you cant use a credit card really is in the capitol city and that's about it so you'll got alot of work to do. But the tourist sites are very pretty.

Antananarivo is very attractive town. If you move to 170 km away from thus town,y ou meet Antsirabe where you can find a beautifull lake, drink a thermal source water. When you move again in the south part called Isalo; you can visit a touristic site that you never seen any where on the worlf with the original animals like lemurians...
