Royal Hill of Ambohimanga comprises of royal city; along with burial site. Moreover, it is one of the ensembles of holy places. This thing has been associated with feelings of ‘national identity’. Sacred and spiritual character has been maintained to the fullest. The origins on its part can be traced back to 500 years. Owing to its semnification, this settlement has been registered as ‘world’s patrimony’ UNESCO.
