Due to the high endemicity of its fauna and flora, Madagascar has become an emerging destination.
An Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, Madagascar is a developping country, but it is developing fast.
80 percent of its fauna and flora are endemic. That makes Madagascar unique and sort of biodiversity bank for researchers. Many comes to Madagascar to observe and to study the natural history of the Island. The Eastern forest of Madagascar has been classified amongst the World's heritage by the Unesco.
In the past, people used to say "you will not able to never disappear". This is due to the density of this rainforest. Nowdays, big part of this rainforest has become protected areas because they are endangered with its fauna.
Most of the travelers who come to Madagascar have been visiting many countries before. But when they come and visit Madagascar, they always find their trip sort of unique experience.
Compared to other destination like South Africa, Kenya or Tanzania, Madagascar has a fragile ecosystem.
Madagascar's people called Malagasy are so hospitable. They will make you feel home and secure anywhere you go.
So contradictory, Madagascar is poor and wealthy at the same time. Why? Because it climate and its soil are so generous and allow all kinds of vegetables and cereals to grow the whole year round. The underground also contains rich mining products such as oils, sapphires, rubis and so on. What made it poor is the rest of the colonisation.
Now, with the MAP (Madagascar Action Plan) and its active President, Malagasy people are actually convinced for their future and for the real development of country.
Madagascar is being a model for all the African country because of the competency of its leaders, their involvement, their partiotrism, their engangement and devotion to Madagascar.
Madagascar has started producing oils, nickel, ilmenites amongst other products. Compared to other small island in the Indian Ocean, it has huge areas for agriculture and farming. The water is also abundant.
Above all, Madagascar is actually a safe country to travel.
