The Upper Town is comprised of the ruins of the Queens Palace, unfortunately
destroyed by fire in 1995, and the President's Palace. From the site of the
Queens Palace a fantastic view of the whole city can be enjoyed.
More attractions of Tananarive: a small Museum of Art and Archaeology and the
Tsimbazaza zoo, which houses a museum as well as a botanical garden and many
species of lemurs and reptiles.
