Madagascar is a tourist’s delight. Beautiful landscapes, pristine beaches, a vivid culture, an intriguing history and breath-taking wildlife.
Antananarivo still displays its French heritage. Sights here include the Queen’s Palace, the Royal Village and the Zoma market. The city also has various museums and galleries worth visiting. Other towns worth visiting are Mahajanga, Hell-Ville and Antseranana, to name a few.
Visit the holiday resort of Nossi Bé and the island of Ile Ste-Marie which was once notorious as a pirate hideout. Also, stop at Ambohimanga, said to be the birthplace of Madagascar.
Madagascar is home to a number of fascinating but endangered species. Popular stops include the Perinet Natural Reserve, Isalo National Park and Ranomafana National Park.
