Tourist Guide Cap Malheureux
Cap Malheureux is basically a tiny fishing village in Mauritius, located north of Grand Bay at a very small distance from Pereybere. Lying at the northern tip of the main island, this place can be called a paradise for its unique natural beauty and calmness.
There are unending stretches of coastal plains and sandy beaches with the water of the sea lashing it. The tropical weather of this place is equally inviting. One also gets breathtaking views of the beautiful small islands around the village. Thus, it can be a memorable vacation for all those visiting Cap Malheureux (which surprisingly means ‘unhappy cape’).
The economy of this magnificent place depends significantly on its tourism industry; however, fishing is the most important occupational activity.
