Morocco is the fifth largest African economy. The economy is backed by the large phosphate mining industry and tourism. Main exports include petroleum products, agricultural produce, textiles, fish, inorganic chemicals, fertilizers and crude minerals.
The average daily cost of living for a tourist is about 1800 MAD to 2000 MAD; an average meal costs anywhere between 45 MAD to 200 MAD. Morocco is well connected with a good network of trains, buses and taxis.
