The Red Mosque or the Jamaa al-Hamra is one interesting attraction in Fes El-Jdid in Morocco. The site is located from the Great Street of Fes El-Jdid and is a local Moroccan religious place. It comprises of a fine green tiled minaret that dates back to the 1300s. The name, red mosque is so called as the site was founded by a red woman from the Tafilalelt.
