The virtues of this hot water spring rich in magnesium were already known in the time of Léon the African, Arab geographer in the XVIth century. Nowadays, the benefits of these curative waters may be enjoyed in the comfort of modern spa facilities, giving you the opportunity of visiting the nearby white Koubba of Sidi Harazem. There, surrounded by eucalyptus, palm and pink laurel trees stands an ancient sacred pool protected by a cupola. Take a trip to the Gorges of the Sebou, and admire the fabulous vistas that open up along the way; towards Fez, the Rif, the Middle Atlas and onto the gorges themselves, gouged out by the Wadi Sebou in the red coloured lime stone.

Lakes of crystal clear water, forests of the deepest green and the imposing mountains of the Middle Atlas: the Fez region reveals an unfamiliar, little-known and yet sublimely beautiful Morocco. You only have to travel a few kilometres to go from the bustle of the town to the tranquillity of wide, open spaces. Beginning with
the magnificent Fez Golf Course, a distillation of nature supremely orchestrated by Cabell B. Robinson. Followed by a visit to the vast century-old forest of cedars in the Atlas, where barbary apes do acrobaties high above and the last of the spotted panthers roam. Every season, every hour has its own colours and its own vibrations: the pure white of winter and the green tenderness of spring, the soft bIlle glow of dawn and the fiery streaks of sunset...
