Jardin d'Agdal gardens were first established in the 12th century expanding to over 400 hectares in Marrakech, Morocco.  The garden is amidst walls having gates at each of its corner, and houses large groves of fruits as well as olive trees. The garden was initially built by the Almohades and renamed by the Alauitas and Saadies. The architects were inspired especially by the Andalusian gardens during their construction choices of making Jardin d’Agdal. The garden is equipped with hydrolic system, and one can smell the orange blossoms, pomegranate, fig, lemon and apricot whilst here.
