Parc National de Toubkal or the Toubkal National Park is situated in the High Atlas Mountains, seventy kilometers from Marrakech.
Located in central western part of Morocco, this park, when established in 1942, was the first designated park.
The park covers an area of 380 square kilometers and is home to the highest peak, Jbel Toubkal, at 4,167 meters.
From here, one can see the breathtaking high mountain landscapes, hosting widespread vegetation, other than rare species like raptos and Barbary sheeps, who find the place their home.
