Rating:

The Kasbah is an open welcoming area of Marrakech.

This neighborhood of Marrakech was also the first Citadel of the Sultans. Inside this district, one can get to see the Djemma-el-Fna a short distance away. Kasbah is also home to the former El-Badi Palace, the Royal Palace and also to the Saadian Tombs. This neighborhood also boasts a good selection of hotels.

There are also little bazaars known locally as Souikas, restaurants, food stalls and riads for the tourists to enjoy.  One can visit the main thoroughfare of the district since the 12th century, the Rue de la Kasbah.
