The climate in the city remains warm hot for most of the times in the year with the summer months being very hot, however, in the months of December and January, the nights can get cold.
You should carry warm clothes while visiting during these months as the region near the Atlas Mountain gets cold quite quickly at night.
The city even experiences occasional rain during the winter season and rainwear must also be included in the packing list.
Most of the tourist's attractions in Marrakesh can be accessed only on foot and a good, comfortable pair of shoes is a must.
Necessary toiletries are recommended, while provided at some of the larger hotels, they are not always at smaller/cheaper hotels.
Visitors who wish to buy antique piece should bring a strong covered suitcase to bring these home.
While roaming around the city, a backpack is recommended for carrying water, sweets and your valuables.
