Ouzoud’s claim to fame is the Cascade Ouzoud. Though the waterfalls are off the usual tourist track in Morocco, the detour is definitely worth it. There are several hotels and restaurants at the top of the waterfall with a great view of the region. Several small mills are also found in this area.
The pool into which the cascade tumbles is accessed by a path through olive groves, and you will find several people taking a refreshing swim here. The source of the waterfall is a short distance away and can be easily reached by foot; it is an underground stream gushing out from a point in the ground. An old olive press can be seen along the way.
