Tourist Guide Saidia
Saidia is located at the northern tip of Morocco along the Mediterranean Sea. This resort town with a population of approximately 18,000 inhabitants is close to the border of Algeria.
Saidia enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate. The summers are long, warm and sunny and there is barely any rainfall. The best time for the beach is the period between April and October.
Saidia is a comparatively new town, founded by the Arabs only about 500 years ago. In the early part of the twentieth century, the French took it over and developed it into a seaside resort. Since then, the city has held on to this position and is a popular holiday destination with Moroccans as well as foreigners.
