Hercules Cave’s interior portion has been utilized in the form of dwellings since ages. Also, there happen to be loads of passages and quarries between them. Just a fraction of cave space has been kept open to tourists. It is believed that Hercules caves were home of Hercules, i.e. founder of Tangier. Ancient Moroccans have carved majority portion of Cave.
