Weather in Morocco varies from season to season. The summer months are exceedingly hot during. So hot, in fact, that the locals are known to grab a pillow and blanket and catch their zzzz’s right on the beach. Essaouira 9
Essaouira is a Moroccan city on the coast. In the early days it was known by its Portuguese name, which was Mogador. Medina of Essaouira is a great destination to explore on foot. It is a great place to shop, drink and eat. The place itself is bustling and lively, you can go around from shop to shop looking for great finds. Essaouira Ramparts offer a lovely view of the sea and the ships, along with the ramparts and some old cannons. If you are visiting Essaouira try and be there during the festival Gnaoua which has some fantastic music and artists. You will get a feel of the local music in a great setting. The Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah Museum Is a well preserved place. It was home to a Pasha and now house wonderful Moroccan artifacts, musical instruments, Jewish Artifacts, old pottery and...
