Rehoboth has a unique history, which can be best experienced in the Rehoboth Museum. Serving as the main attraction in the town, the museum records the complete history of the Rehoboth Basters. The museum’s collection exhibits the cultural heritage and the archaeological finds in the area, like the open-air burial site.
To the west of the town is a popular tourist site, Oanob Dam. Apart from providing water to the city, the dam acts as a picnic spot, attracting a lot of visitors. There are a few restaurants, barbeque facilities, bungalows and walking trails in the vicinity. The place also allows the visitors to indulge in some water sports. Oanob Dam also holds some interest for those who enjoy bird-watching.
When in Rehoboth, do make sure to visit the Reho Spa. The Spa, a very popular destination with the tourists, boasts an indoor pool and outdoor pool. The Spa offers its visitors an excellent opportunity to completely relax.
