The Dakar Grand Mosque was built in 1964 and is considered as one of the most significant religious buildings in Senegal. This historic building is located on Allee Pape Gueye Fall. This monument was designed by Moroccan and French architects, and opened in 1964 by Hassan II, King of Morocco and President of Senegalese, Leopold Sedar Senghor.
