A regular meal in Senegal revolves around Thieb, or rice, served with a stew. The national dish is Tieboudienne—rice prepared in a fish and tomato sauce, served with vegetables and fried fish. Meals are washed down with the local beer, Flag, or interesting juices like Bouyi (made from the Baobab fruit) and Bissap (a hibiscus drink).
