Curieuse Island can be described as a small island; which has an area of 1 sq. mi. Moreover, it’s amongst the members of Inner Island Group of Indian Ocean state of Seychelles. The name ‘Curieuse Island’ has been obtained from ‘La Curieuse’, i.e. a ship carrying party which discovered island in the year 1768. At present, it’s a home of takamaka trees, mangroves and palms.
