Having lived and worked on Ste Anne for two years, the main nature spectacle is nesting hawksbill turtles on the far side of Ste Anne (east side) however check for permission to see them during the laying season.
There are relic cannon from the second world war which point out towards the open sea prepared to repel any possible invasion.
The old buildings dotted around from the National Youth Service days are good places to view the endemic green geckoes and perhaps even a nesting Seychelles kestrel.
