Seychelles’ highest point, the Morne Seychellois, standing tall at 905 m, is situated on the island of Mahé and offers a breathtaking view of Victoria and the blue ocean beyond. Another natural wonder is the famous Vallée de Mai on Praslin Island, which is believed to be the original site of the historical Garden of Eden.
The Victoria Botanical Gardens will enable you to observe amazing varieties of plant life like Coco-de-mer palm, the world’s largest seed, grown only in Seychelles.
When in Victoria, don’t forget to be a part of its active nightlife, especially at the Level 3 bar in Victoria Harbour. Make sure to photograph yourself standing next to The Clock Tower, built in 1903, which is a popular tourist monument.
For those with an inclination for good food, Victoria is the place to be. Among the city’s specialties is the Red Snapper filet in sauce, an amazing seafood preparation that will leave you wanting for more.
