Cape Town has some of the most relaxing beaches in the world. For the genuine sea lover this destination, with all its beautiful beaches, is heaven.
The beaches of Camp Bay and Clifton attract a trendy and young crowd while False Bay is more of a family beach.
Clifton Beach is divided into 4 layers each given its own number. The 4th layer is the best in summer, with good facilities available for showering and good changing rooms. Deck chairs and umbrellas are available for daily rentals.
Camps Bay is an elongated sandy beach with parking along the side roads. There are many vendors on the beach selling food and drinks.
The best views are available from the lovely Llandudno Beach. The beach is sandy with rocks at both ends of the beach.
Hout Bay is a favourite with tourists as it has many restaurants and curio shops. The Old Harbour flanks the beach on one side with the cliffs of Chapmans Peak looking down on the beach at the other end.
Wind-surfing and Paddle-skiing are favourite pastimes for many visitors.
