Tourist Guide Centurion
Centurion is a city of 280,000 inhabitants located in Gauteng Province, between the two metropolitan cities Pretoria and Johannesburg.
In Centurion you can vist The Waterkloof Air Force Base, as well as the South African Air Force Museum.
Other two great museums to visit are Smuts House Museum, with its nice tea garden, and Centurion Art Gallery.
The first is the prior home of the great General Jan Smuts and reveals much about one of South Africa's most remarkable leader.
The second is mainly a contemporary art gallery collecting also notable examples of South African art.
Finally, a great place to go shopping: Centurion Mall, a huge shopping mall located around the beautiful Centurion Lake: here you can find all the best brands and fashion names; the Mall is also famous for its man-made color water fountain.
