South African Cuisine draws influences from all the cultures. Indian curries, indigenous African preparations and European cooking, all meet to make a unique cuisine. Some of local delicacies include Waterblommetjiebredie (meat stewed a flower from the Western Cape marshes) and Bobotie (minced meat cooked in brown sugar, apricots and raisins, with milk-soaked bread and curry).
