Tourist Guide Jeffreys Bay
Jeffreys Bay is a town situated in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, just an hour far from Port Elisabeth.
The origin of the name is really particular: the name derives from the senior partner of the firm Jeffrey & Glendinnings that opened a store where the city is in 1849. He is known as the first person to settle there.
Jeffreys Bay is popular among tourists for its beaches, especially the Blue Flag Beach and it is home to the Billabong Pro, an annual surfing competition
