Take a look to our one-day tour to Augrabies Falls National Park:
Departure is at 8.30 am from the Guest House. First stop in in Keimos, where you take a drive up the "Tierberg Mountain", for a panoramic view of the Orange River Valley. During the stop in a dried fruit farm stall, you'll have the chance to taste local products.
On arrival at Augrabies Falls, we go for a walk to see the Orange River, the 7th longest in Africa. After that, we go for a series of game drives to try and spot the desert animal found here, especially Giraffes, Springboks and smaller animals like the Dassie. The Augrabies is a paradise for birds lovers too.
After a long visit to the Falls, with the help of our guides who will explain all you want to know about plants and animals in this area, you'll come back to Upington in the late afternoon
