Established on 1st July 2000 Mnazi Mmoja Gardens is situated in Mtwara district in the tip of Tanzania. The park includes two islands and mangroves covering an area of approximately 650 square kilometers out of which 430 square kilometers are water covered.
Mnazi Mmoja Gardens is famous for the growth of variety of botanical species and exotic spices. Herbal bath is also available for the visitors to make them relaxed and refreshed.
One can also enjoy the fishing on the cost of the garden which is also the main resource for the livelihood of the people living in the garden.
