The El Ghriba Synagogue is the oldest prayer house in the whole of Africa. It was built by the Jewish community for their daily prayers. The prayer house was built by the Jewish community with a lot of faith and belief. Thus this monument holds a great respect ad importance in the Jewish community. Till date daily prayers are offered there by the local Jewish people.
