Gammarth is an attractive seaside town located 20 km north of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. It offers tourists an easy access to the country’s capital as well as to historic settlements like Carthage and the neighbouring resort town of La Marsa. The nearest airport, Tunis International Airport, is just a few miles away. Gammarth can also be reached by bus from the capital city.
The town has a mild Mediterranean climate: hot and dry summers and wet winters. It is sunny for most of the day, which makes it popular for beachgoers and tourists who seek the strong African sun at its best.
